Modern Fleet of large, advanced tecknology factory trawlers The Polar Seafood organization owns and operates a modern fleet of large, advanced technology factory trawlers. These trawlers are fishing for cold water shrimps/prawns (Pandalus Borealis), Cod, Haddock, Saithe, Red Fish and Greenland Halibut. The Polar Seafood range of frozen at sea products comprises raw shell on shrimps, block frozen, or packed I.Q.F. The cooked at sea shell on shrimps, are only available in I.Q.F format. Cod, haddock, and saithe are filleted to required specifications, and are frozen at sea also. The Greenland halibut and red fish are likewise processed directly after catching whilst still fresh. These fish are trimmed to "Jap-Cut" standard or offered as graded whole fish.
