Food safety and food quality are top priority at Polar Seafood. As we fish most of the products ourselves and have a strict quality policy, we are able to offer superb seafood products with full traceability. All raw materials entering our production are subject to comprehensive checks.

Polar Seafood’s quality management system has been established in accordance with the HACCP principles which encompass the Company’s own stringent control system. Our internal control system covers the entire process from raw materials to finished products.

Hygiene at Polar Seafood’s factories complies with the most rigorous requirements in the market and is based on strict regulations imposed by the Danish Veterinary Authorities,  BRC and IFS as well, of course, as our customers’ and our own high standards. Hygiene requirements cover the design of buildings, production processes, working garments, attitudes, behaviour and, not least, exacting cleaning procedures.
